Career / Professional Highlights


Jenny has several years of experience in higher education, banking and international publishing before she co-founded AEMG Education, a global education company in 2001.
As the founder of AEMG, she guided the company to pioneer a unique and successful model of transnational education (TNE) for Australian universities, working with over 50 partner universities in China and around the world.

Jenny is also an inspiring and visionary female leader in global higher education. Under her leadership, AEMG has continued to flourish, with operations ranging from undergraduate to PhD collaborative programs, joint research centres, offshore learning centres, Cloudcampus and qualifying programs for universities in various countries.

  • Major projects / achievements:
    Designed and developed the discipline-based Academic English Language program, currently used and accredited for TNE between China and foreign universities, including a series of textbooks. Initiated and established a $1 million (AUD) joint research hub between AEMG and the University of Tasmania, with various Chinese university partners, such as the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, which is leading in research growing herbs used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Finalist in the 2021 PIEoneer Awards – public/private partnership of the year for the China Learning Centres initiative in collaboration with the University of Auckland, featured on the Women Community Leaders and Their Impact as Global Changemakers (2022) by IGI Global along with Emma Watson, Jacinda Ardern, Malala Yousafzai, etc.
