The Teaching and Learning Facilitator plays an operational and academic support role within the Centre for Academic Language (CAL), contributing to the effective delivery of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and discipline-aligned preparatory programs. Operating across partner locations in Fujian, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Shaanxi, Chongqing, and Hainan as well as various other locations across China, the role works within an academic team to facilitate learning activities, support student engagement, and strengthen the development of academic English and foundational disciplinary knowledge across business, science, education, and related streams. The position plays a key role in maintaining consistency of delivery and ensuring students are progressing toward readiness for transition into international partner programs. Within the teaching and delivery model, the Facilitator functions as a bridge between students and academic staff, providing targeted academic support, monitoring student progress, and contributing to a structured, student-centred learning environment. The role underpins CAL’s quality and delivery standards by reinforcing learning outcomes and contributing to the overall coherence of the transnational education experience delivered by AIFE Beijing.
