Professor leads discipline-based research across STEM programs, aligned to their area of expertise, with a primary focus on developing and delivering high-impact research initiatives. Based at AIFE partner locations in Australia, Europe, or New Zealand, with regular travel to China, the role drives major research programs, secures and leads collaborative projects, and produces significant scholarly outputs. The position contributes to building research capability across delivery locations, strengthens partnerships, and integrates research activity within AIFE’s transnational education model. Teaching responsibilities are selective and focused, supporting advanced or research-led subjects were aligned to expertise. Providing senior leadership in research strategy, project development, and research quality across multiple contexts, the role supervises research activity, mentors academic staff, and contributes to curriculum development where research integration is required. The position drives rigorous research practice, delivers high-impact outputs, and advances innovative educational approaches that enhance student outcomes and align with global academic standards.
